Shein is a global, fast-fashion e-commerce platform that offers affordable prices, primarily targeting teenagers. The company, originally founded in China, has become popular recently for its budget-friendly fashion.
I have spent hundreds of dollars on Shein products and like it because you can get things for much cheaper than you would in a typical store. I’ve gotten decorations for my room, shirts, pants, hoodies, jackets and it honestly is a 50/50 chance that your product will be good quality.
Shein prices are almost too cheap to believe that the product could be any good, but I have been mostly pleased with my orders. They aren’t top quality items but for such low prices I think they are much better than you’d expect.
One downside to ordering from Shein is shipping. Compared to more popular websites like Amazon, shipping can be somewhat costly and your package likely won’t come any faster than 3 weeks without paying an extra fee. Quality is also something to factor in. Shein clothing is typically made out of cheap, synthetic materials to keep prices low. After a few wears and washes there is a good chance the piece of clothing will start to deteriorate.
At the end of the day for such low prices it’s reasonable for quality to be substandard. Personally I think that with the amount of good products I’ve gotten from Shein, it’s a solid 3 out of 5 stars place to shop online. Just always remember to check reviews because what shows up isn’t always what you saw in the picture and if you want the best quality, reviews will let you know if it’s a good buy.
