Talent show returns

Talent+show+returns

Destiny Wilson, 3rd hour OTMS Productions II

The talent show is a once a year thing that has been on hold the last few years due to COVID.

Auditions took place on April 19 and 20. Theater Arts teacher Amber Rumpel and choir teacher Kaitlin Long are in charge of the show.

Students have previously sang, danced, done hula hoop tricks, dog tricks, played guitar and even played the piano in the talent show. Sometimes, teachers also get involved in the fun.

“We love to have teachers participate,” Rumpel said.

There is no budget for the talent show, but students have access to a piano and sound equipment.

“Students will have to supply their own materials for their act,” Rumpel said.

There is still room for more students or teachers to perform. Talk with Rumpel about auditioning if you have an amazing talent or skill.

The talent show will be on the last day of school which is a half day and will take place in the gym.
