Fun Night is an open opportunity for students to interact with each other outside of school that may not get a chance to during sports or other activities.
Amanda Holder is a 7th grade teacher on the Trailblazer team. Holder manages STUCO which is the group that sells Fun Night tickets.
“We have to build in opportunities for students to get together outside of school,” Holder said.
Mia Neiderhouser is a member of StuCo and sold tickets during Fun Night. She is an 8th grader on the Voyagers team. She believes that Fun Night is important.
“It brings people together,” Neiderhouser said.
JJ Gaines is an 8th grader on the Navigators team who participated in
Fun Night playing basketball.
“Fun nights are pretty important because people have fun,” Gaines said.
Summer Sooialo is a 7th grader that participated in fun night playing card games. She had fun during the event.
“I got to hang out with all my friends and learn different activities,” Sooialo said.
